Information on the data controller and the purpose of the processing

John Deere Walldorf GmbH & Co. KG, John Deere Straße 1, 69190 Walldorf, listed in the Commercial Register of the Mannheim District Court under number HRA 707944 ("John Deere") gathers and processes personal data obtained from you (IP address, access details) and data about your activity with us as part of your visit to the John Deer Online Shop. We use this personal data to analyse your user behaviour. When you create a customer account, John Deere gathers and processes further personal data (name, email address) when this customer account is created. In the event of an order, John Deere gathers and processes further personal data (address, telephone number) and forwards these to the dealer, your contractual partner, Mainfreight Log. Serv. Netherlands B. V., P.O. Box 18, 7040 AAs Heerenberg, the Netherlands ("Mainfreight"), for the processing of your order and  to establish contact in the case of problems in the processing of the order. Legal basis for the processing

The processing of personal data is performed on the basis of our legitimate interest, in accordance with the legal basis for data processing according to Art. 6 (1) lit. f of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). When a customer account is created, the processing of personal data is performed on the basis of consent granted in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a, 7 General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). If your personal data  is forwarded to Mainfreight, this is done to facilitate the conclusion of a purchase agreement between you and Mainfreight in accordance with the legal basis for data processing pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. b General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Your personal data  is stored in accordance with our internal storage policies.

 

Categories of recipients of personal data

In the event of an order, your personal data  is forwarded by us to your contractual partner, Mainfreight. The John Deere Online Shop is prepared by an independent third party organisation, which is contracted by us for this purpose.  Your personal data  is also forwarded by us to our affiliated organisations for the purposes listed in the detailed Data Privacy statement. Your personal data is also transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area that have different, less stringent data protection regulations. This includes the United States of America. In these cases, John Deere uses permissible data transfer mechanisms such as standard contractual clauses, binding internal data protection regulations (BCR) or the certification of US data importers under the Privacy Shield framework, if applicable.

 

Rights as a data subject

In order to obtain information about your personal data, request that we rectify or erase your personal data, restrict or object to the processing of your data or to assert any other data protection rights to which you are entitled, please contact us at www.deere.com/privacy. You also have the right to complain to the responsible supervisory authority in the EU Member State where you have your habitual residence, where you work or at the site of the alleged violation of the GDPR.
