John Deere Tractor 7700

Deere & Company was founded in Illinois in 1837 by the blacksmith John Deere. Today, John Deere is the world’s leading manufacturer of agricultural vehicles. The first tractor models were built by Deere & Company shortly after the end of the First World War. During the Great Depression from 1931 to 1933, the company allowed farmers who could not afford to make repayments to keep their purchases. With hindsight, this generosity helped the company to acquire many new customers and ensure a high level of customer loyalty. The John Deere 7700, which was the inspiration for our Schuco model, is a heavy-duty tractor with a maximum permissible weight of 11 tonnes. It was produced from 1992 to 1997. Conceived by John Deere engineers for the heaviest off-road terrain, the 7700 is very popular and is still widely in use nowadays.
